The Telling - DVD
it's no titanic...okay i am watching this movie called "the telling" and my anticipation and expectations are high, i mean what do you get when you cross playmates, three maybe four mild stories, a creepy doll into one movie. i really don't remember, but did i mention playmates? i don't think i liked the movie for an overall, but i enjoyed the ideas they would have had if they would have made it less simple cheesy. i it looks like it was filmed in the mansion where all the playmates might have hung out, it was not a great movie... it had potential... did i mention playmates? lol
Date Night - Will It Be Too Funny?

Corey Haim - March 10th 2010
One day my brother and i with two other friends found ourselves on the set of "Lucas" back in 1985 and we just what kids do... get kicked off the set. Let me explain we were making friends and talking with everyone and at some point were asked to drive in the scene as an extra car while the actors walked to their car. We as kids said sure, no pay and no credit... just a car blip in the background. We were set and the action call was made and we drove into the take, and then bam we stopped mid shoot and yelled out to the actors "Corey Haim and Kerri Green"... Smile.
Got a few photos and sped off, here are those photos... As you could imagine wrecked scene and upset directors, we got the boot. Corey, return to Neverland...
Alice In Wonderland - My First Thoughts...
Okay my opinion maybe null, cause my passion for the Tim Burton Film Style... he always makes it dark and face pasty and over the top real people doing over the top things. this film "alice in wonderland" gives you all of that and more considering it is a fantasy. now i want to explain i don't remember much of the book or the original cartoon version, so i remember what i remember. it picks up after several years from the child alice fell into the hole and pulls off the believability time line... not like superman returns mess. alice finds herself back down the hole and back into a adventure and i say go. if you enjoy stuff like this, you will enjoy this... at some point i didn't know what was going on, i was taking the beauty this film brought to my eyes. i did not see it in 3D, i don't like it... i get dizzy, so maybe someone who does... let me know. so in short my new favorite burton film since the last...why is a raven like a writing desk?

What is your biggest and least fear?
Something ever happening to my children is my biggest fear.
Before I made BALLOONS, I didn't realize how widespread the fear of clowns is. I actually like clowns and have a hard time seeing them as scary.
Who are some of your personal influences, not in the horror field?
The photographer Robert Parke-Harrison. Old Warner Bros and Disney cartoons. Joseph Campbell. I also interned with Nick Vedros, and he had a big impact on how I like to light my scenes.
How do you find inspiration with your art?
I look for universal fears, things we can all relate to.
What is one of your largest projects, from start to finish?
LADY BATHORY probably took the longest. It took a long time to find a space where we could build the set. And it took even longer to find someone I could hogtie and suspend from the ceiling. I don't use a lot of Photoshop, so I'm not very fast with it - getting the blood right seemed to take forever.
If you could leave one thought about your life for a complete stranger?
Follow your bliss.

Light hearted
