Silva Screen Records: "Only Fools & Horses" - The Original West End Cast Recording

Dedicated to producing London cast recordings of critically acclaimed musicals, on 13th December Silva Screen Records will release the original recording of the smash hit Only Fools and Horses.

The musical comedy, directed and choreographed by Caroline Jay Ranger is produced by Phil McIntyre Entertainments, written by John Sullivan’s son Jim together with comedy genius Paul Whitehouse and is fully endorsed by the Sullivan estate. The original score is written by Jim Sullivan and Paul Whitehouse with contributions from Chas n Dave.

The landmark television series Only Fools and Horses, broadcast between 1981 and 2003, holds a special place in the hearts of the British public. Created by the great John Sullivan, the series starts off against the backdrop of Thatcher’s 80s Britain and features the quintessential wide-boy Del Boy Trotter together with his long-suffering family and friends. For the musical, Paul Whitehouse and Jim Sullivan combed the seven series and 16 specials for the John Sullivan’s absolute best punchlines, puns, malapropisms and gags.

Headlining the cast recording are Tom Bennett as Del Boy, Ryan Hutton as Rodney and Paul Whitehouse as Grandad. The album will be a welcome addition to Silva Screen Records' growing catalogue of musicals that include Elf The Musical, Hair - 40th Anniversary and BIG The Musical.
