Howlin' Wolf Records Proudly Presents: "FINAL JUDGEMENT/TERROR WITHIN II" music by Terry Plumeri

Both scores are composed, orchestrated, and conducted by Terry Plumeri. A chamber orchestra and choir are used to create a Gothic, "brooding harmonic vocabulary" to match the psychological journey of FINAL JUDGEMENT. For THE TERROR WITHIN II, "dark and sometimes forceful accompaniment" match the extreme, post-nuclear war landscape. In the liner notes the composer reflects on the love theme for THE TERROR WITHIN II, proclaiming it as "one of my favorite love themes I have written for cinema."

Random Media: "BLUE WORLD ORDER"

Random Media brings humankind to the edge of ruin in Blue World Order.  Starring Billy Zane (Titanic, The Phantom), Jake Ryan ("Home and Away", The Great Gatsby) and Stephen Hunter (Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy), Blue World Order will premiere nationwide January 16th on Cable and Digital VOD, including iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, inDemand, Dish and more.

Blue World Order is the first feature from writer-directors Che Baker and Dallas Bland.  The duo collected the awards for Best Film at the Canberra International Film Festival and the LA Invasion Film Festival amid screenings around the world.  Bruce Spence (Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Matrix Revolutions), Jack Thompson (The Man from Snowy River, Around the Block) and newcomer Billie Rutherford round out the cast of survivors in search of a new beginning after nuclear war and a deadly plague have pushed humankind to the edge.

After a nuclear war decimated the Northern Hemisphere, the surviving population was infected with a deadly bacterium. In an attempt to rebuild civilization, a self-appointed government called The Order distributed an immunization to the bacteria, which inadvertently killed all the children. Only one man, Jake Slater, remained immune. The only child that survived is his daughter, Molly. Now, Jake scavenges the wasteland searching for a way to keep her alive, unaware that she is the key to the survival of humankind.

The poster reveals a "big something" and why is that connected to Billy Zane? I have to know...

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment: "The Mountain Between Us"

After the cancellation of their flights out of Boise Airport due to stormy weather, Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Bass (Idris Elba) and photojournalist Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) contact Walter (Beau Bridges), a local private pilot to get to Alex's wedding (scheduled for the following day) and Ben's emergency surgery appointment in Baltimore, Maryland. They board an uncharted flight with Walter's dog. Shortly after takeoff, Walter suffers a stroke, causing the plane to crash on a mountaintop. Ben, Alex and the dog survive the incident with various injuries, but Walter is killed.

Ben buries Walter and tends to Alex's wounds, realizing they must find civilization for any hope of survival. Alex asks Ben to leave her behind as he has a better chance of surviving, but Ben refuses. Instead, he climbs a peak to see if there are any structures nearby. On his descent, he nearly falls off a cliff face. Meanwhile, a cougar approaches the plane wreckage, attacking and injuring the dog. The cougar then approaches Alex within the plane wreckage, but she wounds it with a flare. Ben returns to find a blood trail and rushes to the plane. He provides medical attention to the dog and later retrieves the body of the cougar and barbecues it for food.

Stranded for days with dwindling sustenance, Ben and Alex find strength in each other. Alex becomes skeptical that help will come, though Ben continues to insist they press on. After a heated argument, they both sleep, with Alex resolving that she will leave. At first light, she proceeds to leave the wreckage and start a descent down the mountain. Ben wakes and gives chase, eventually catching up with Alex, and they make up over past grievances. While making shelter in a cave, Alex uses her camera to locate a man-made structure and spots a reflective material flashing at her. They agree to make it down to this structure. As they continue their walk, they become separated from the dog. Ben goes after him and finds an abandoned cabin. As he looks through it, Alex feels the ground beneath her cracking. She realizes she is standing over thin ice, and she falls through into the ice cold water. Ben hears the cracking and sees Alex fall down. He runs over and pulls her out, but she is unconscious and almost blue. Ben brings her to the cabin and starts a fire to warm her up. He takes a risk of administrating her an injection he crafted out of materials in the cabin in a resourceful way. A couple of days later, Alex eventually wakes up to the sound Ben makes with the piano in the cabin.

MovieScore Media: "Lôi Báo" Music by Christopher Wong

MovieScore Media presents the music from the action thriller Lôi Báo, the latest collaboration between Vietnamese-American composer Christopher Wong and writer/director Victor Vu. The film tells the story of a man dying of a terminal illness receives an experimental medical treatment and soon discovers he has superhuman powers. But the origins of the treatment are intertwined in a dark history that becomes unraveled in his life… The film and the score is a follow-up to last year’s releases of Sword of the Assassin and Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass, two other MovieScore Media soundtrack which featured music from Christopher Wong / Victor Vu collaborations.

”Lôi Báo is an unconventional film in that it has elements of both a superhero movie and a suspense thriller” explains the composer about the project. ”In listening to the score, one will encounter action cues and heroic anthems, but might be surprised to hear a great deal of mystery and suspense, and even some dramatic music suggesting dark secrets of a family.  As with many of Victor Vu’s films, lost memories are an important story theme and so you might even hear music that hints at a mysterious love that can’t quite be remembered.” Due to its genre-bending plot, the music has a lot of ground to cover from its piano-based love theme to its orchestral treatment of gradually discovered superpowers.

Composer Christopher Wong has established himself as the go-to composer for the rising generation of Asian American directors. Christopher’s interest in film music began late in college when he was selected by the music department to study privately under Jerry Goldsmith. His first major credit was Journey from the Fall, the debut feature from director Ham Tran – the film received a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival, while the score earned a nomination from the International Film Music Critics Association for Best New Composer of 2007. Apart from Journey from the Fall, MovieScore Media has also released Christopher’s score for The Rebel, a historical drama set in 1920 French Indochina, the romantic comedy How to Fight in Six Inch Heels and Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass which was Vietnam’s submission for the 2016 Academy Awards. MovieScore Media: "Skybound" Music by Andrew Reich

MovieScore Media takes to the skies with Skybound, the new action thriller score by German composer Andrew Reich. Written and directed by Alex Tavakoli, Skybound finds five friends on a small airplane in the middle of some strange events. When the group mysteriously loses their its radio connection on a trip from New York to LA, it turns out that maybe they are better off in the air. As they continue their flight, they’re forced to assume that a major disaster happened on the ground. They discover a stowaway, Erik, who urges them not to land at any cost. Before they run out of fuel, they must find out the truth…

The high-octane action thriller score is provided by Andrew Reich, who combines the reflective piano parts for the majesty of flying with heart-pounding percussion as the simple plane ride turns into a nightmare.  As the composer explains: “Besides a typical score with orchestral elements, Alex wanted some let’s called them ’up-in-the-sky’ sounds. We had to create a palette of flying 3D effects to give the images more depth especially in scenes where you have exterior shots.”

Andrew Reich is an award-winning film composer, who previously worked on several European and American feature films. Trained by Hollywood veteran composer Christopher Young and German Film Score Guitarist Andreas van Wangenheim, Andrew started scoring for films in 2006, while graduating with a diploma degree in classical music. In 2011 Andrew’s score for Quirk of Fate gained him a Tech Award at the Long Island Film Expo, NY. Besides Skybound, his more recent credits are the 360 Virtual Reality adventure Walhalla and the upcoming western Bullet Vein. "http://moviescoremedia.com/"

Varèse Sarabande: "24 Hours to Live" Music by Tyler Bates

Varèse Sarabande will release the 24 Hours to Live – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on December 29, 2017 and on CD January 19, 2018. The album features original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, John Wick). Marilyn Manson’s "God's Going to Cut You Down," is a traditional hymn previously popularized by Johnny Cash and Odetta, is a special album-only bonus track.

Bates is currently a member of Marilyn Manson's touring band and produced Manson’s last two albums. “Manson and I were putting the finishing touches to his album ‘Heaven Upside Down’, when the director Brian Smrz asked me if we would possibly cover the song ["God's Going to Cut You Down"] for the end credits,” said Bates. “Manson & I were already very familiar with the song, and there was a version placed temporarily in the end credits that we didn't like, so we just did our own thing. We found a tempo that felt good, threw up a ‘four on the floor’ 808 kick drum, and worked out an arrangement with acoustic guitar and his vocal. I added talk box, melodica, bass, electric guitar, and ambient noise over the course of one late-night session!”

24 Hours to Live is a fast-paced action-packed movie about a career assassin (Ethan Hawke) who is given a chance at redemption after his employer brings him back to life temporarily after being killed on the job.

Bringing focus to the core precepts of the film, composer Bates explained, “Loss, love, and retribution, are strong emotional motives that drive our main character to take extraordinary measures to carry out his mission in the most extreme capacity, so it was important that the score to be imbued with those emotions.”

Bates also brought in some ethnic musical elements to the score.  “We subtly alluded to South Africa, (where the film primarily takes place), with some ethnic instrumentation in the percussion, and a couple prominent solo vocal moments.”  To achieve these effects, “Rafe Pearlman sang solo vocals.  I played acoustic and electric guitars and Guitar Viol. And there was plenty of interesting percussion instruments used throughout, including Kalimba, Hammered Dulcimer, Udu, singing bowls, and many clay pots for tonal centering of the percussion.”

Varèse Sarabande will release the 24 Hours to Live – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on December 29, 2017 and on CD January 19, 2018.

The soundtrack to the new film by Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator) will be available digitally on December 22 and on CD January 12. The film will be released in the U.S. on December 25, 2017.

Daniel Pemberton says about the soundtrack: “Working with the legend that is Ridley Scott is always an absolute delight. He gives you the space to try something different and loves to be surprised - he doesn’t want the obvious approach. There are not many movies where you can write operatic choral pieces, brand new classical work and modern post-rock all in the same world but within this film we could. You’ve got be able to keep up with him though and he moves FAST! - I think I just about managed on this soundtrack, and couldn’t be happier with the result.”

ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom.  When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal.  With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money. The film is inspired by true events.  Some scenes, characters and dialogue have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes.

Sony Music: "GUNPOWDER" Music by Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka)

Sony Music has digitally released the GUNPOWDER - Original Television Soundtrack. The album features the TV series’ original score by Oscar-nominated composer Volker Bertelmann, also known as Hauschka. The series, which stars Kit Harrington of Game of Thrones, premieres today on HBO.

Gunpowder, a three-part thriller based on the 17th century events that led to Guy Fawkes Day, is coming to HBO. The miniseries, written by Ronan Bennet (Top Boy) and directed by J Blakeson (The Disappearance of Alice Creed) stars Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) as Robert Catesby, who was the driving force behind the Gunpowder Plot in 1605 London.

The story focuses on Catesby, a committed Catholic at a time when Protestant England persecuted Catholics relentlessly, as his refusal to abandon his religion brings him to the edge of financial, social and psychological ruin. Mark Gatiss (Game of Thrones, Sherlock) plays Robert Cecil, King James’ spymaster, who directs efforts to hunt down, torture and kill priests, while rank-and-file Catholics are subject to oppression and the loss of their property.

The miniseries chronicles the evolution of the plot, the selection of collaborators to carry it out, the gathering of resources and the obstacles to its execution — as Catesby’s team plays a deadly cat and mouse game with Cecil’s ruthless spy network.

The cast also features Peter Mullan (Cinemax’s Quarry) as the Jesuit Father Garnet, who advocates peaceful protestation, and Liv Tyler (The Leftovers) as Catesby’s astute and capable cousin, Anne Vaux, who becomes suspicious about his activities and fears the consequences will be the exact opposite of what Catesby intends.

MovieScore Media: "VIKING" Music by Dean Valentine

MovieScore Media raids the vaults of epic film scoring by releasing an album of music from the epic Viking, the top-grossing Russian film of all times.  Multi award winning Irish composer, Dean Valentine, was initially hired to score the trailers for the film and later was invited to create and score the main themes of the film as well as the big action set pieces. The powerful orchestral music underscore a story set in a tumultuous period from the 10th century as Prince Vladimir must flee his homeland after the murder of his father - he must reclaim his throne from exile with the aid of Viking mercenaries.

While there has already been a soundtrack release for the film in Russia, that album contains only the contributions of Russian composer Igor Matvienko - this release only features Dean’s music, with three bonus tracks from other works of the composer, including the trailer music for Ridley Scott’s blockbuster 2015 The Martian.

”Scoring Viking was a bit hectic but great fun too, hearing The Orchestra Of Ireland perform your music live is a thrill that just never gets old” explains Dean. ”I also had the privilege of working with some brilliant solo musicians and fell head over heels for the viola d'amore (similar to a Hardanger fiddle). It was great to let loose in some of the big action scenes with soaring strings, growling brass and thunderous percussion but I was really drawn to the characters in particular Varyazhko, Prince Vladimir’s nemesis. His theme has aggressive brass and clashing metal percussion but underneath lies a fragile and flawed man who is his own worst enemy, not Vladimir’s.”

Besides Viking, some of Dean’s other recent credits include the bruising Iraq war drama Tiger Raid (starring Brian Gleeson, Damien Molony and Sofia Boutella), the multi-award winning animated film Violet with Aidan Gillen and the award winning trilogy of features about Holocaust survivor Tomi Reichental. Dean’s signature sound can also be heard on some of Hollywood’s biggest movie trailers including; Dunkirk, Captain America: Civil War, Fury, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire for which Dean received the coveted 'Golden Trailer Award'.

MovieScore Media: "THE VAULT" Music by Shaun Drew

MovieScore Media's latest venture into meshing genres is the music from the new James Franco heist thriller The Vault, in which composer Shaun Drew mixes the minimalist synth sounds of John Carpenter with the orchestral mayhem of The Shining. Co-written by and directed by Dan Bush, The Vault stars Franco (The Disaster Artist) as Ed Maas, the assisting bank manager who gets caught up helping two estranged sisters (Taryn Manning, Francesca Eastwood) pull off the perfect heist in order to save their brother. In fact, their plan goes awry, and it’s soon revealed that there are otherworldly forces involved in the caper, as the siblings battle forces way beyond their imagination...

“Scoring The Vault was a great opportunity to participate in a fun genre mashup  combining a modern-day bank heist with classic horror elements“ explains the composer. “The director, Dan Bush, has great vision and excellent taste in music. We worked with the goal of developing a classic, signature sound for the film, paying homage to Carpenter and Eno — whilst occasionally harkening back to Kubrick’s use of music for The Shining. We were pleased with the end result, and feel that The Vault was able to develop its own memorable sound and musical through-line, to enhance the characters and story.“

Though he has been in the business for more than a decade, composer Shaun Drew makes his original soundtrack release debut for MovieScore Media with The Vault. Drew’s most notable scores are written for Warner Brothers/DC Comics partnerships, and are thus part of the animated universe of the comic book publisher. Drew’s music can be heard in the hit YouTube series DC Super Hero Girls, the new animated franchise focusing on the high school days of DC's favourite heroines and villainesses. Shaun also composed music for the 75th anniversary DC Comics documentary, Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics. His first solo recording effort, an ambient album called The Great Dissolve, was met with positive critical reviews, and was honored as a finalist by the Independent Music Awards.

Caldera Records: "LISA" Music by Gabriel Yared

Caldera Records is proud to present the original score for the motion picture “Lisa” from 2001, directed by Pierre Grimblat, featuring music by Gabriel Yared. The film tells the story of young filmmaker Sam (Benoît Magimel) who becomes obsessed with an unfinished 1939 picture entitled “Princess Marushka”. In fact, Sam’s fascination is not with the film, but with its lead actor Sylvain Marceau (Sagamore Stévenin) who had mysteriously disappeared during World War II. What happened to him? Was the film unfinished because of his disappearance? Where had he gone? In order to answer the question, Sam decides to make a documentary about Sylvain and sets off to interview all surviving friends and colleagues who might have some insight into his character. His most interesting lead in the investigation is the eponymous Lisa Morain (played by Jeanne Moreau and a young Marion Cotillard) who recounts her torrid love affair with the actor on the eve of the outbreak of World War II.

Walt Disney Records: "STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI" Music by John Williams

Walt Disney Records releases the original motion picture soundtrack for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.   The album features a new score conducted and composed by five-time Academy Award®-winning composer John Williams.

Lucasfilm and director Rian Johnson join forces as Star Wars returns to the big screen with Star Wars: The Last Jedi releasing in U.S. theaters today.

Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ ubiquitous Star Wars “Main Title” theme has become part of popular culture since it was first heard accompanying Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977.   It is no surprise that Williams’ orchestral compositions for Star Wars are among the most beloved and recognizable themes in cinematic history, from the classic “Main Title” theme introduced in Star Wars: A New Hope to the ominous “Imperial March” from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back to the stirring “Duel of the Fates” from the prequel trilogy.

After creating the scores for the seven previous Star Wars films, Williams returns to compose and conduct his signature sweeping music for The Last Jedi.

The Last Jedi score was recorded in Los Angeles.   Williams worked with members of the highly regarded freelance orchestra with which he’s recorded numerous film scores over the years. The music for The Last Jedi was recorded over several months while working in tandem with the film’s editorial and special effects teams on the West Coast.

As with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, audiences can expect to hear quotations from earlier Star Wars themes.  For Williams, incorporating the previous themes is part of the fun of scoring the Star Wars movies and helps create what he calls “the fabric of the films.”

Tor Books: Kill All Angels "The Vicious Circuit" (Volume 3) - Robert Brockway

The concluding volume in the humorous punk rock adventure that began with The Unnoticeables and The Empty Ones.

After the events of the first two books of the Vicious Circuit series, Carey and Randall reached LA during the early '80s punk scene, which was heavily mixed up with Chinatown. A young Chinese girl with silver hair is the Empty One that seems to run things there, and her ex-lover, an Empty One named Zang, has apparently turned against them and may or may not be on Carey's side.

In modern times, Kaitlyn and company have also returned to LA because her powers have been growing and she has been having visions that may be telling her how to kill all of the angels. The downside being that they have to find a new one, first--and LA is the only place they know where to do that.

Steeped in the LA punk scene in the '80s, Chinatown, sunken suburbs, the ocean and gargantuan things that swim in it, Kill All Angels is everything that fans of Robert Brockway's irreverent humor have been looking for to end the series with a bang.

KRONOS RECORDS! Finishes the Year Out Right!

KRONCD081 - 249: LA NOCHE EN QUE BECARIA ENCONTRÓ A EMILIANO REVILLA. Music by JOSÉ SÁNCHEZ-SANZ
info http://kronosrecords.com/K81.html

KRONOS RECORDS is once again very proud to champion a composer from the land that seems unable to stop popping amazing composers for film, Spain! And the composer in question is José Sánchez-Sanz; known for his work on I' LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS (2003), H6 DIARIO DE UN ASESINO (2005) and THE SYMMETRY OF LOVE from 2010.

249. LA NOCHE EN QUE UNA BECARIA ENCONTRÓ A EMILIANO REVILLA is a soundtrack that oozes sophistication and quality, a work that is innovative, lingering and exciting, but moreover one that is entertaining and rewarding.  It is a brooding soundtrack and a slow burning score, as it has three musical personas, the sad and slightly romantic face being underlined by a richly dark and unsettling side that itself is given more power and credence by the composers fertile and imaginative orchestration skills, that make the work sound larger than it is. Then we have the delicate and fragile character of the work which percolates through the shadowy and nervous material, the composer at one point adding a fleeting and ever so subtle accordion sound that is not that pronounced or prominent but still gives the work that something more, making the listener take even more interest in what is building musically.  This is a score that initially sounds European, which given the composers origins is a somewhat accepted conclusion, but then we have another sound or style that begins to filter through and intertwine with the already established Euro sound, this gains momentum as the score develops and has affiliations to the Hollywood thriller score of both today and yesterday.

The CD is strictly limited to 300 copies so make sure to get yourself one now!

KRONCD082 - ARTIFICIAL. Music by JORGE GRANDA
info http://kronosrecords.com/K82.html

KRONOS RECORDS has always been fond of composers from all eras of music and hailing from allover the world, however Spain seems too be bubbling with them so here is once again another titles by another up and coming Spanish composer, Jorge Granda. The score in question is for the 2015 short "ARTIFIITIAL (ARTIFICIAL)" from director David Pérez Sañudo

Xabier  goes for a job interview. What he doesn't know is that he has already been selected. CORPSA offers to pay him 80,000 if he agrees to be cloned. But more than just a lot of money depends on his decision.  The music for this film is synth based as synthetic is the clone CORPSA wants to do but not cold and emotionless, au contraire the score is an homage to 80's syth scores, but with the composer's own touch, bringing in a touch of mystery, suspense through dark ambient influenced passages.

The CD is our most limted one so far at only 150 copies so make sure to get yourself one now because this one will go very fast!

KRONCD083 - THE LION WOMAN. Music by UNO HELMERSSON
info http://kronosrecords.com/K83.html

KRONOS RECORDS and MOVIESCORE MEDIA present another sublime score from Scandinavian cinema. Written and directed by Vibeke Idsøe based on the 2006 novel by Norwegian author Erik Fosnes Hansen, The Lion Woman tells the tale of Eva Arctander, a girl who suffers from a rare genetic disorder which makes hairs grow over large parts of her body. Born in 1912 while her mother dies during childbirth, Eva’s father initially tries to hide his daughter, but Eva cannot be held back from achieving her dreams. Despite humiliating examinations and bullying, Eva still falls in love, experiences respect and disrespect and discovers company by joining in a theater group featuring other folk who also suffer from rare diseases. The film follows Eva through ages 7, 14 and 22 in a most unusual coming-of stage story.

Composer Uno Helmersson explores the uplifting story of Eva with an emotionally evocative, thematically rich score exploring all three stages in the girls development in accepting herself. As the composer puts it: “The Lion Woman is a story about being different, trying to make your way through life. It is also a story about the complex relationship between a father and daughter – guilt, pride, judgement and love. The music in general comments both the inner as the outer world of Eva and her voyage. It also emphasize the relationship between Eva and her father Gustav. With its slightly melancholic, driving, beautiful and magic world – it takes you on Eve´s journey through life.”

The Lion Woman soundtrack features additional music by Kristian Eidnes Andersen, best known for his contributions to the films of Lars von Trier.

The CD is limited to 300 copies and will not last long!

KRONCD084 - SALVATORE, QUESTA È LA VITA. Music by PAOLO VIVALDI
info http://kronosrecords.com/K84.html

KRONOS RECORDS is proud to present our first release by very talented Italian composed PAOLO VIVALDI, composer of OLIVETTI-LA FORZA DI UN SOGNO, VISO D’ANGELO, THE TEACHER, I CERCHI NELL’ACQUA and the very well known EXODUS and starring Enrico Lo Verso, Alessandro Mallia  and Giancarlo Giannini.

Vivaldi’s score for the picture is symphonic with a minimal amount of synthetic support and enhancement and is written predominantly for strings, piano and woods, these elements acting as a foundation on which he builds the remainder of the thematic material. The composer underlining and enhancing the movies, dramatic, comedic and at times heartrending moments superbly. Vivaldi, utilizes solo piano within the soundtrack to purvey delicate and fragile atmospheres, creating emotive and haunting musical nuances and interludes. The composer also employs a beguiling Female wordless voice at certain stages of the score which is underlined by cello and further embellished by subtle piano, a combination that is not only affecting but highly effective. The score is not only melodic and alluring, but also contains a richness and has a luxurious musical persona, Vivaldi, shaping, adapting and tailoring his already emotive and melancholy sounding music to suit every scenario that we encounter within the picture. There is also a more rustic side to the work, which comes in the form traditional sounding Sicilian flavoured pieces, which personally evoked memories of Luis Baclov’s soundtrack for IL POSTINO. But, it is the delicate and more melodic thematic material that attracts one to the score, and within the movie the composer does manage to get the correct balance and enhance rather than overpower with his subtle nuances and lingering tone poems, plus creating a rich and attractive work.

The CD is limited to 300 copies.

KRONCD085 - QUEEN'S MESSENGER. Music by STELVIO CIPRIANI
info http://kronosrecords.com/K85.html

KRONOS RECORDS is once again proud to present another hidden gem by Italian Maestro STELVIO CIPRIANI, composer of War Devils, The Bounty Killer, The Anonymous Venetian, Blindman, Death Walks on High Heels, Baron Blood, Rabid Dogs, Suor Emanuelle, Voices from Beyond, She, The Black Spider, The Boy & The Lion, Death, Deceit & Destiny Aboard The Orient Express and many more. This time is the turn of QUEEN'S MESSENGER from 2001, starring Gary Daniels in the role of Captain Strong, featured also Romina Mondello and Academy award winner Christoph Waltz and directed by Mark Roper.

It is an action-driven, uptempo orchestral score, however the composer also manages to include a lush and romantic sounding side to the soundtrack with strings that swell and rise and solo piano that is delicate and alluring, which adds a degree of fragility to the proceedings.

The CD is limited to 300 copies and will not last long!

It's a great time for music, here is something for everybody!
