Clueless is a 1995 American coming-of-age romantic comedy film written and directed by Amy Heckerling. It stars Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Paul Rudd and Brittany Murphy. Clueless was produced by Scott Rudin and Robert Lawrence. It is loosely based on Jane Austen's 1815 novel, Emma, with a modern-day setting of Beverly Hills. The plot centers on Cher, a high school student, who befriends a new student named Tai. Clueless was filmed in California over a 40-day filming schedule. The film's director, Heckerling, studied real Beverly Hills high school students to learn the lingo and to understand how real teens in the 1990s talked. The famous quote "as if!" came from Heckerling's study of these teens.

Okay, guess who was one of the couple hundred of people watching this happen "LIVE", talk about this event going viral "CLICK HERE" to see the buzz. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or simply Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is an American television series created for ABC by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division), a fictional peacekeeping and spy agency in a world of superheroes. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy Productions, with Jed Whedon, Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell serving as showrunners.

The series revolves around the character of Phil Coulson, with Clark Gregg reprising his role from the film series, and his team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, who must deal with various unusual cases and enemies, including Hydra, the Inhumans, Life Model Decoys, and alien species such as the Kree. Joss Whedon began developing a S.H.I.E.L.D.

I have enjoyed this show for the entire run and for my Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson is one of the best underrated heroes of the entire Marvel Universe. Of course May has his back, so it was another treat to be in the same room with these two. Check out "SYFY" coverage, it's better than what I had shot.

Taimak's leading role in Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon, in which he played Leroy Green, a Bruce Lee-inspired martial artist in search of "The Glow", was his first major break in acting. The film was a financial success and grossed more than $25 million at the box office. In addition to his acting career, Taimak operated a gym on the Manhattan's East Side in New York city called Fitness Concepts, that he opened in 2002. However, due to time constraints, he has since parted ways with the partner but may reconsider re-opening another gym in the future. In the interim, Taimak completed Taimak FIT (Find Inner Transformation) the first installment of a series of fitness DVDs. He is an accomplished martial artist and has received black belts in Goju Ryu Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, Hapkido, Jujutsu, Taekwondo & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He studied Chinese Goju under "The Black Dragon", Ron Van Clief.

Music.Film Recordings: "HOTEL MUMBI" music by Volker Bertelmann

Music.Film Recordings announces the upcoming release of its soundtrack to the feature film Hotel Mumbai with original music from Volker Bertelmann who also records to much acclaim as Hauschka.  A gripping true story of humanity and heroism, Hotel Mumbai vividly recounts the 2008 siege of the famed Taj Hotel by a group of terrorists in Mumbai, India. Among the dedicated hotel staff is the renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Anupam Kher, New Amsterdam) and a waiter (Academy Award-Nominee Dev Patel, Slumdog Millionaire) who choose to risk their lives to protect their guests. As theworld watches on, a desperate couple (Armie Hammer, Call Me By Your Name, and Nazanin Boniadi, Homeland) is forced to make unthinkable sacrifices to protect their newborn child. Hotel Mumbai hits theaters on March 22 in Los Angeles and New York with a nationwide release on March 29 through its US distributors, Bleecker Street and ShivHans. The complete soundtrack will be released digitally on March 22 with a CD release following on March 29.

Hotel Mumbai’s director, Anthony Maras, recounts his experiences working with Volker Bertelmann as inspirational, stating “Volker’s score is the beating heart of Hotel Mumbai, connecting the intertwining narratives of the characters we follow into one cohesive whole. It is equal parts terrifying, inspiring and compassionate. From the first frame it grabs you and never let’s go until the curtains close. It is without hyperbole that I say working with Volker was a dream come true."

Bertelmann’s score evokes intense emotions from his high-voltage “How Many Bullets Do You Have” to the complex and haunting “Streets Reunion,” which drives home the harrowing events of this siege. When speaking of his experiences working on the soundtrack, Volker writes "It was my sincere pleasure to work on Anthony Maras' Hotel Mumbai. I had the best time working on his intense thriller based on the drama of many people who lost their lives in this horrible attack. The film tells a clear story about how senseless terror can be and at the same time highlight how amazing people can react in extreme situation like this.”

Volker Bertelmann is a composer, songwriter, and experimental musician who uses prepared piano as his primary instrument. The prepared piano refers to the technique of resting pieces of paper, marbles, drumsticks, and other objects on the strings to produce odd, sometimes randomly generated sounds that move the instrument in unexpected directions. His albums of prepared piano music include The Prepared Piano, a solo record of spontaneous improvisations; Ferndorf, featuring arrangements for cello, trombone, violin, and piano; Salon des Amateurs, with drummers Samuli Kosminen (múm) and Joey Burns and John Convertino (Calexico); Silfra, an improvised collaboration with classical violinist Hilary Hahn and Abandoned City. In 2015, the MDR Symphonic Orchestra commissioned two compositions for orchestra called "Cascades” and "Drowning” that were performed in the Gewandhaus in Leipzig.

Volker has also built a prolific career in writing scores for films in recent years. Among his earlier film scores are Praia du Futuro, a Brazilian love story centered on two gay men which became controversial in its home country; Farewell, Herr Schwarz which touches upon German/Jewish history and Holocaust themes in a mystical way; and Craig Macneill’s The Boy, about a child who grows up to become a mass murderer.

Volker’s big breakthrough in the field came through with his collaboration with Dustin O’Halloran in scoring Lion (2016), directed by Garth Davis and starring Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman, and Rooney Mara. Lion tells the true story of a homeless Indian boy from Calcutta who returns to India 25 years later in search for his birth parents after being adopted by an Australian couple. Their score went on to be nominated for numerous major awards, including an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA.

Other recent scores include Simon Curtis’ The Art of Racing in The Rain (2019), Baltasar Kormákur’s Adrift (2018) starring Shailene Woodley, mini-series Patrick Melrose starring Benedict Cumberbatch, James Franco’s In Dubious Battle (2016), and documentary Exodus (2016) by Hank Levine, which explores the current refugee crisis with individual stories.

Artsploitation Films: "TERROR 5"

The events depicted in this motion picture happened one night and are, in portion, based on urban legends. Perhaps even ordinary urban legends. But the night of the events, our main characters will face fear in their most various ways. While the City Governor is facing the accusation of being responsible for a tragedy that led to the death of 15 persons when a building in construction fell apart. Perhaps, all citizens of the city should be concerned about that. But those who don't will confront their own demons. Hernán and Gabriela, two lovers from work, go to a motel without realizing that inside the room, behind that mirror there is something waiting for them.

Lucio and Paulo have a plan to swap girlfriends without realizing that the trick is going to be played on them. Not far from there, a group of friends are watching a snuff movie without realizing that the real terror could be sitting next to them. And Juan attends a date with Sonia thinking he is going to get laid but he realizes that she has bigger plans for him. And finally it all blows up after the word “innocent” is said and all the responsible people of the tragedy are free. And the answer for that injustice comes from the most unexpected place. Girls. Boys. Men. Women. French kissing. Sex. Blood. Screams. Suspense. Violence. Rage. All in the same night, that is "TERROR 5". [artsploitationfilms.com]
