Emmy®, Tony®, and Golden Globe® nominated artist Matthew Morrison, in collaboration with Disney Music Group, TODAY releases carefully curated album of Disney classics, Disney Dreamin’ with Matthew Morrison. Inspired as a personal dedication to his own child, Morrison’s song selection was picked from his fondest Disney memories as a child himself and will cover several eras of beloved classic films including “Pinocchio,” “Dumbo,” “Cinderella” and “Toy Story.” On his rendition of “A Whole New World,” Matthew called on his longtime friend, Billboard #1 recording artist and Broadway star Shoshana Bean, to join him on the only duet of the album.

“I have never felt so much joy and connection in making an album. Every note, every word I sang was for my son, Revel James," Morrison states. "There's a beautiful feeling of nostalgia that is forever connected to the Disney catalog, and my goal was to deliver an album that reconnects us all to the magic of youth."
To celebrate the release of the album, Morrison will host an intimate concert and talk session with fans on Friday, March 13 at Sony Hall in New York City. The show will be hosted by Emmy award winning journalist Frank DiLella. Tickets are available at www.sonyhall.com.
Morrison's versatility has been shown through his recognized work on-stage and on-screen. In addition to starring in multiple Broadway productions (“The Light in the Piazza,” "South Pacific,” “Finding Neverland,” “Hairspray”), the award-winning performer portrayed the role of Will Schuester on the Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning series, “Glee." Other television credits include guest star roles on “The Good Wife” and “Grey's Anatomy.” Morrison has recorded two studio albums and has collaborated with an impressive guest list of artists including Sting, Sir Elton John, Smokey Robinson, and Gwyenth Paltrow. Most recently, Morrison appeared on FX's "American Horror Story: 1984" and BBC One’s hit dance competition series created by Simon Cowell, “The Greatest Dancer.”
