Silva Screen Records: "DYNASTIES" Music by Benji Merrison and Will Slater

Benji Merrison and Will Slater's contemplative score to BBC Earth's innovative documentary series.

Dynasties will premiere on BBC America on January 19th at 9 p.m. It will be simulcast on the following cable networks: BBC America, AMC, IFC and Sundance. The five part program will follow on from the breathtaking Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II to explore the lives of different tribes from the animal kingdom.

Presented by Sir David Attenborough and produced over a period of 4 years, the big theme of the series is allowing animals space. Throughout the series and in every episode, except the Antarctic, long shots show the encroachment of the human population.

Executive Producer Michael Gunton and Series Producer Rupert Barrington comment - "Dynasties is a new kind of natural history event. Five episodes, five of the most celebrated and endangered animals on the planet. Never before have we presented a landmark series with such powerful storytelling - about families, leaders and heroes. Never before has a landmark offered the viewer the opportunity to follow the lives of animals in such detail, each fighting against overwhelming odds for their own survival and the future of their families. These are some of the most dramatic and intense stories of their kind ever told".
