WaterTower Music: "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" Music by James Newton Howard

WaterTower Music today released three additional tracks from the soundtrack to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the second of five all new adventures in the Wizarding World™ created by J.K. Rowling. The film will be in theaters November 16, 2018, and the 25-track soundtrack from Grammy and Emmy Award winner and multiple Oscar nominee James Newton Howard (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Hunger Games franchise) will be available to stream and purchase digitally on November 9, 2018.

Two weeks ago saw the early release of two cues from the soundtrack: “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” and “Salamander Eyes.” Now fans now have the opportunity to hear more music from the album: "Dumbledore’s Theme (Solo Piano)", “Fantastic Beasts Theme (Solo Piano)” and “Leta’s Theme (Solo Piano)." All three of these special tracks are not heard in the film and were recorded and performed especially for the album by composer James Newton Howard.

“To work on Fantastic Beasts is a wonderful musical opportunity,” explains composer James Newton Howard. “The movie is delightful, substantial, and complex; and [director] David Yates focuses very seriously on the music and is a truly passionate and enthusiastic collaborator.”

The album is scheduled to be released digitally on November 9, a week before the film’s release. It will be released on CD on November 30, 2018 and on vinyl in January 2019.

The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald soundtrack is now available for pre-order (vinyl pre-order coming soon) and the track list is as follows:
