In JAKOB’S WIFE, Anne is married to a small-town minister and feels like her life and marriage have been shrinking over the past 30 years. After a chance encounter with “The Master,” she discovers a new sense of power and an appetite to live bigger and bolder than before. As Anne is increasingly torn between her enticing new existence and her life before, the body count grows and Jakob realizes he will have to fight for the wife he took for granted.

When watching a film like this there are two directions you can take and these happens a lot more with a horror film. One you watch waiting for the gore to start to see where you are going to stand with the film and where you are going to be til the end. Will you watch intently with full on start to finish or watching from the corner of your eye getting the grasp of what is happening. Gore level is so important too, because you have the realistic and or fun type, with the over the top style. Second you find yourself not caring about any of the characters, then in some cases like this film where you care about what is going to happen to the people within a film. I cared, I cared a lot as Barbara Crampton “Anne” found herself wandering the dark world that she was put into.
