Holiday Horror that is not for Everybody from Lionsgate Home Entertainment!

AFTER DARK ORIGINALS: SANATORIUM [DVD]: From After Dark Films comes the next installment of After Dark Originals, Sanatorium.  The chilling story about life after death and the evil force that remains, arrives on DVD (plus Digital), Digital HD and On Demand December 23 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Winner of the Audience Award at the New Hampshire Film Festival, Sanatorium will be available on DVD.

On New Year’s Eve in 1955, Richard Howell, a patient at the Hillcrest Sanatorium, went on a bloody, child-killing rampage, before he hanged himself. Fifty-six years later, a team of ghost hunters — from the popular TV series “Ghost Trackers” — prepares to spend the night at the sanatorium. They hope to capture paranormal activity for the entertainment of their show’s fans. Instead, they unleash a horrifying force of evil…hell-bent on their destruction.

TUSK [BLU-RAY/DVD]: From writer/director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Mallrats) comes this wickedly funny modern-day monster movie that will hold you in terror as it keeps you in stitches. The highly anticipated film Tusk arrives on Blu-ray™ (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) December 30th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Starring Michael Parks (Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Kill Bill: Vol. 2, Django Unchained), Justin Long (Live Free or Die Hard, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), Haley Joel Osment (Amazon's "Alpha House," The Sixth Sense) and Genesis Rodriguez (Identity Thief, Hours), Tusk is being called "Kevin Smith's very best work" (Variety). Tusk premiered to the world at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival as a part of the Midnight Madness program and was released theatrically by A24.

A podcaster (Long) looking for a juicy story is plunged into an unpredictable, unsettling and absurd nightmare after he travels to the backwoods of Canada to meet an eccentric recluse (Parks) with a lifetime of adventures-and a disturbing fondness for walruses.

The Tusk Blu-ray and DVD include deleted scenes, multiple "making of" featurettes, a career retrospective featurette with Kevin Smith, an audio commentary with Kevin Smith plus the original podcast that inspired the film. The Tusk Blu-ray and DVD will be available.

Two that should scare the Scrooge right out of you, both are spooky and should make you leave the light on... for the rest of the year!
