Marvel Music/Hollywood Records: "LOKI: TVA" music by Natalie Holt

Marvel Music/Hollywood Records releases "TVA," the theme from Marvel Studios' "Loki," streaming exclusively on Disney+. Music is by composer Natalie Holt ("Victoria," "Knightfall," "Herself"). "TVA" will be followed by two digital soundtrack releases, Loki: Chapter One (Episodes 1-3) on July 2 and Loki: Chapter Two (Episodes 4-6) on July 23. Album producers are Kevin Feige, Kate Herron & Dave Jordan.

Commenting on the track, Holt said, "I channeled over-the-top Shakespearian drama, drew from my love of classic 70's synths, big orchestral power, and the glorious sound of the sci-fi go-to instrument - the theremin, played by the wonderful Charlie Draper. The track musically represents the TVA, evoking its majesty and power. The TVA theme comes in many guises throughout the series and blends with Loki's theme, which gets its full outing at the end of episode two and blends with some earthy Nordic folk instruments to connect with Loki's origins. Getting to work in the MCU, and on a character like Loki, was such a gift. I have so enjoyed inhabiting this world, fleshing out stories and adding layers of emotion and meaning with music, and being a part of this exciting chapter of the MCU development."

Marvel Studios' "Loki" features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother's shadow in a new Disney+ series taking place after the events of "Avengers: Endgame." Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs "Loki," and Michael Waldron is head writer.

Natalie Holt is a multi-award winning British composer, known equally for large melodic orchestral arrangements and intimate, textural, and at times experimental, electro-acoustic compositions. Holt creates dramatic original scores for feature films, television drama and narrative-driven entertainment.

She received an Emmy® Award-nomination for PBS' "Victoria," for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series, a Best International Score Award at the Beijing International Film Festival in 2018, a Royal Television Society Award 2017 and a further nomination in 2020. Holt recently scored Netflix/Claudia Llosa's drama feature, "Fever Dream," starring María Valverde premiering this Autumn.
