The Returned [Series] (DVD)

From seasoned executive producers Carlton Cuse (TV’s “Lost,” TV’s “Bates Motel”) and Raelle Tucker (HBO’s “True Blood”), comes the new, scripted A&E® supernatural drama, The Returned™ on DVD (plus Digital) September 15th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Based on the International Emmy®-winning French series “Les Revenants,” members of a small community try to piece together how and why they are reunited with loved ones who were lost many years ago. The Returned™ DVD comes complete with all ten riveting episodes—many of them in their uncensored versions not previously shown on TV—along with a “Behind the Scenes: Creating the World of The Returned” featurette; artist Dirk Dzimirsky’s take on drawing the characters; plus the executive producers’ commentary on the characters in the “Inside the Episode” specials. The Returned™ will be available on DVD.

The Returned™ focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people, who have long been presumed dead, suddenly re-appear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. Interpersonal relationships are examined with intrigue and depth as strange phenomena begin to occur.
