About the composer: Born in Florence, Italy, Kays discovered his passion for creating music at an early age under the tutelage of accomplished classical music teachers. He attended college at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where he graduated Cum Laude. A Los Angeles resident since 2004, Kays' unique approach to textural and mood-setting compositions has resulted in a number of well received film scores, such as CUTTING ROOM, which yielded the Best Soundtrack award at the Milan International Film Festival, ZZYZX, THE BROS., BELIEVERS, ALIEN RAIDERS, and THE OBJECTIVE. In 2009, Kays avant-garde score for the short film RITE debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, and in January 2010 Kays original score to the re-imagined Bertolt Brecht play BAAL premiered in Los Angeles to raving reviews. Kays' music has been heard on television in a number of shows like American Idol, The Dog Whisperer, Celebrity Fit Club, Unique Whips, and in many theatrical trailers around the world.

5/5 Just like the film, it's a great piece of independent work and is good... I find that the score heightens the ideas and brings it altogether and home from start to finish.
